For those of you who receive Footnotes, you have noticed by now that our ad was a rerun of last year's ad, instead of the lovely ad that Heather submitted for us. The correct ad is on our website and attached here, so you can print it and put it in your Footnotes. Or print it and share it when you go visiting. Or detach it and send it to friends. Whatever!
Just remember that we will dance this Friday with
Gary Shoemake and we will not dance on April 6th, since it's Good Friday.
The MASDA Dance on Saturday, March 31st, will have a special event — the visitation winners will be announced! We hope to see you there!
Have you contacted Patti Farris about the Big Shanty Festival? She is signing up folks for the parade on Saturday, April 21st at 9:30 am. For a second opportunity, demo dances will be performed from 5:00-5:30 pm on that same day. Call or email Patti to get involved!

Hi, Square Dealers!
The green was gorgeous at our dance on Friday! We hope everyone had as much fun as we did. Thanks to Cari and Don for decorating — it added extra color and smiles all around!
As we mentioned at the club meeting on Friday, the Big Shanty Festival gives two opportunities for fun and recruiting. We'll be in the parade on Saturday, April 21st at 9:30 am and performing demo dances from 5:00-5:30 pm on that same day. Patti Farris has agreed to coordinate the activities, so please contact her about participating.
Cari is still collecting second quarter dues, except of course from our new graduates. See her at the front table per usual.
PLUS CLASS is just amazing with as many as 10 squares! Thank you, Angels

Hi, Square Dealers!
The Smoky Mountain Ball was declared a great success by everyone in attendance! Here's a first-hand review from Cari Edwards:
"Gatlinburg was great. Square Dealers won the plaque for attendance (the official count was 38). Pete and Penny were there working as a vendor. The new members who went loved it and said that those who didn't come really missed a lot. Many of the new members were at the line and square workshops. Friday night's after party was big – almost everyone came. We had stand up comedy entertainment with a few members telling a joke. Saturday, Sara led us to a unique and fun lunch spot – we laughed the whole time!! Becky coordinated some games so new members earned their first fun badges. Saturday's after party was a smaller group visiting and relaxing, and it was a really nice way to wind down after our busy weekend."
If you didn't make it to Gatlinburg this year, keep it in mind for March, 2013!
Wear your green for our dance on Friday. And bring some $green$ with you for second quarter dues. Remember, new graduates, that you're already paid in full.
For everyone who collects Fun Badges, Cari has some special ones for you. She'l be at the front table with Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, and visitation dangles. And, extra special . . . drum roll, please . . . a
tornado dangle called Twister Dodger!!! It's all just too much fun!!!
