April 3 — National Caller, Lottie Ainsworth –  Remember we will be dancing at LOST MOUNTAIN PARK in the Ward Recreational Center on Dallas HWY.  Dance will be from 7:30 to 10:00.  Please remember to bring a food dish.  Let’s all come out and support Lottie and our club!  Directions:  Coming West on Barrett Parkway, cross Cobb Parkway (Hwy 41) and continue for about 2 miles to Dallas Highway (Hwy 120).  Turn right and travel Dallas Highway for several miles, passing by The West Avenues on the left, Belks on right,  Once you pass the Police Station,(Midway) you will turn left at the next traffic light into Lost Mountain Park.  At the 1st intersection after entering the Park, turn left.  The Ward Recreational Center will be the 2nd building on the left.

Mar 27,  Cherokee Squares, Regular Dance

April 18 — Big Shanty Festival — Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the Big Shanty Parade starting at 9:30 a.m., and Demo on the Depot stage at 5:00 p.m.  This is one of the city’s requirements in order to help with hall rent.  We need as many members as possible to walk the parade route, and we hope to have at least 2 or 3 squares for the demo.  There will be a sign-up sheet at the next couple of dances.

March 20 — KSD Hobo/Redneck Dance.  Ray Mauney plans to be back for this dance.  YAY!  We can’t wait to see your costumes!

March 14 — The 47th ANNUAL Callers’ and Cuer’s Memorial Dance.  Shrine Temple Atlanta, 400 Ponce De Leon Ave., NE, Atlanta.  Admission DONATIONS.  The proceeds from this dance will benefit Our Lady of Perepetual Help Hospice.  Members, if you are going to this dance — please donate by check, making the check to OLof PHH, and designating on the check that you are a member of KSD.  That way the club will be given credit for the donation when the final tally is gotten.  Last year, even though we had several attend and donate, we did  not receive credit for the donation because we did not designate on the check that it was from a KSD member.
