April 3 — National Caller, Lottie Ainsworth –  Remember we will be dancing at LOST MOUNTAIN PARK in the Ward Recreational Center on Dallas HWY.  We are dancing from 7:30 to 10:00.  Since we are expecting a large crowd for this dance, please make your dish a finger food item – cheese and crackers, fruit, nuts, chips, pizza, cakes, brownies, cookies, pies and etc.  

Directions:  From I-75, go West on Barrett Parkway, cross Cobb Parkway (Hwy 41) and continue for about 2 miles to Dallas Highway (Hwy 120).  Turn right and travel on Dallas Highway for several miles, passing by The West Avenues on the left, and Belks on right,  Once you pass the Cobb Police Station, (at Midway Rd) you will turn left at the next traffic light into Lost Mountain Park.  At the 1st intersection after entering the Park, turn left.  The Ward Recreational Center will be the 2nd building on the left.  We plan to have signs on the highway and within the park.

After Party:  We are planning on going to Taco Mac on Dallas Highway after the dance.  Please plan to join us.

April 18 — Big Shanty Festival — Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the Big Shanty Parade starting at 9:30 a.m., and Demo on the Depot stage at 5:00 p.m.  This is one of the city’s requirements in order to help with hall rent.  We need as many members and students as possible to walk the parade route, and we hope to have at least 2 or 3 squares for the demo.  There will be a sign-up sheet at the next couple of dances.

March 20 — KSD Hobo/Redneck Dance.  Ray Mauney plans to be back for this dance.  YAY!  We can’t wait to see your costumes!
